2024 Health Policy and Access to Dental Care

Register now for the Fall 2024 Semester – Dental Public Health and Oral Health Policy collaborative virtual course. 

This course uses examples and issues in dentistry and dental public health as a strategy for understanding health policy, the market for dental care, and public health program development at the local, state, and national levels.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

1) Understand the health policy process and engage in policy analysis. 

2) Apply the health policy process and community health program planning methods to oral health access issues and dental care delivery systems. 

3) Identify possible linkages between public health, medical care, and oral health access issues and services delivery system.
